Archaeology

In the summer of 2018, I participated in a month-long archaeological dig at Antiochia ad Cragum (located in the Antalya province, Turkey), which was a Roman city in the first century and later became a prosperous early Christian bishop’s seat.

I worked to uncover sections of the acropolis complex of this site, including an early Christian baptistry. I also trained in taking elevation measurements and the analysis of pottery sherds.
