I am currently undertaking research using the library’s original 1726 copy of 'Gulliver’s Travels,' owned and annotated by its author Jonathan Swift, to assist in an upcoming exhibition that will celebrate the 300th anniversary of its first publication.

I regularly assisted the Hope Digitisation Project by scanning a collection of prints (early modern and modern portraits) and cataloguing metadata pertaining to each image. I underwent training in museum safety and security, in the proper handling of the archival material, as well as navigation of Adobe software, Bridge.

I wrote a detailed report on the history, architecture, and occupants of Oxford’s Old Fire Station, a building complex dating from 1894.

I collaborated with the National Trust programming team and utilized census records to write a history of Attingham Park, Shropshire.

Working with the Director of Collections and Exhibits, I digitized, processed, and catalogued museum archival material, chiefly relating to the history of the museum, and assisted in the formation and assembly of temporary exhibits.

This part-time employment position was oered following a weekly volunteer commitment in the library's rare book room. I assisted the head librarian in the application for a Cultural Heritage grant and performed research on the guidelines implemented for Special Collections Libraries.
